Our record shows that the drive LAGTXXXX was shipped to Taiwan distributor Weikeng on 2-Sep-2014, warranty of this drive expires on 2-Sep-2017. By default the warranty of a drive starts when the drive is sold and shipped to the authorised distributor. If you have a purchase invoice (Proof Of Purchase) that shows you purchased the drive at a reasonable later date, we can use the invoice date + warranty period to grant you a warranty replacement claim when you want to claim warranty replacement for an out-of-warranty drive. You do not need to provide us the purchase invoice now, it is only required when you want to claim warranty replacement for a defective drive that is out of warranty.
